Hi guys
We Australian strangers would just like to inform you that our production/taster went very well. We performed two showing over two nights and the audience seemed to really enjoy them. However, we did encounter a few “hiccups” and we would like to share them with you so you don’t fall into the same situation that we did. The main thing was rehearsal time. Also, make sure you have plenty of time to get the performance together, find the appropriate lighting and familiaring yourself with both the space and your characters.
But, overall, everyone was interested and excited on the idea of “Strangers” and impressed with the concept of international devising and the collaboration extravaganza. We look forward to reading the script soon.
Thanks for the update ATYP Strangers. Glad you enjoyed the process. Your ideas are certainly giving us lots of food for thought. It’ll be really interesting to see what wings its way into the final text. Thanks for tips, I think that will be really important for us all next year. It would be wonderful to see same clips from the show, your song and any new writing/movement you have been doing on here ASAP as Daf is working on the script right now! Congratulations on all your work,
