The Not So Fun House – Model Box

Coming soon……

Ndidi John (the writer and co-lead facilitator recruited by some of the young participants for the project) had the most wonderful idea to ensure the voices on the project did not become lost after the project was over- the Not So Fun House Model box! The young people alongside artist Amy Marsden have created a miniature version of the interiors of each of the spaces within the production. The model box will not only feature the design but QR codes where you can access young people reflecting on the ideas for each space, video footage of the scene performed in the live show and other creative content developed in collaboration with that room. The idea is to keep the young peoples mission for change and their voices in the rooms where decision makers will be. 1st stop on its tour will be the cabinet room of Swansea Council to ensure all of the corporate parenting board are aware of the obstacles young people leaving care have ahead of them when access housing and mental health support. The big ambition is to keep the young peoples voices and vision for change alive decision makers accountable.
