Another Queer Christmas Community Producer
Part Time 0.6 ft equivalent, 22.2 hrs per week
2 year fixed term contract from October 2023 (tbc)
£26,300 pa pro rata
(£15,780 pa actual)
We are looking for a Community Producer to be a key member of our team delivering the Another Queer Christmas project. Funded by the Arts Council Wales Connect and Flourish scheme, the project will connect the queer communities of Swansea in 2 years of creative activity and establish creative and inclusive spaces where queer Swansea can celebrate itself and its stories, coming together in a Creative Explosion of events in Christmas 2024.
Working alongside the lead artists, Bethan Marlow and Cerian Wilshere-Davies, the Community Producer has a key role engaging and supporting the community to take part and ensuring a long lasting legacy of queer creativity arises from the project. The project is supported by a partnership of organisations in Swansea, including Swansea Pride, PYNK, Arts and Heritage Team Swansea University Health Board, Mess Up The Mess and Urban Foundry. The Community Producer will be the key connection on the ground between the partners and Swansea’s LGBTQIA+ communities.
