Why not volunteer with Mess Up The Mess, Ammanford’s award winning youth theatre? Whether you want to gain experience behind the scenes in the theatre industry, or become a confident and talented peer leader, we have a role for you!

We are currently looking for volunteers to join us as peer leaders, and as technical crew! You could develop your skills in leadership, lighting, sound and video with us in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll be given full training in whichever field you choose, and plenty of hands on experience both with the state of the art equipment at our Ammanford office, and at our events and shows with our talented team! As long as you’re happy working in a team, and are willing to develop into a confident communicator, we can help you become a technical or leadership prodigy!

Time commitments can be adapted to suit you, and you can spend as much or as little time as you want working with us. However you get to us, we can support you with travel costs!

Working in the community and with other young people offers an incredible opportunities to gain new friends and connections, as well as meeting plenty of new people along the way!

You will also gain great experience to add to your CV, and there’s even the potential to work towards an Arts Award Qualification! Additionally, registration with the Volunteering Wales platform can give you additional recognition for your hard work.

You won’t need any prior experience – just bring your enthusiasm, your personality and a willingness to learn!
